Recipient of Lockheed Leadership Scholarship – a four year, full tuition academic scholarship – chosen by Admissions Committee for Scholarship, Leadership and Civic Affairs.  RPI’s highest scholarship.  Lockheed gave 10 scholarships annually, one to each of those it deemed the best engineering schools in the United States (eg, RPI, CalTech, MIT, Carnegie, Case)

Begun as a medical electronics manufacturer which designed, manufactured, distributed and marketed neurophysiologic devices for operating and emergency rooms, ICUs, brain processing/dementia, nerve research and diagnosis, sleep analysis.  The OR devices showed a 70 – 90% reduction in stroke in certain high-risk surgeries.  Eventually became the manufacturer, distributer and marketer for Breathe Right® Nasal Strips.
