Multiple Sclerosis:  Clinician’s Guide to Diagnosis and Treatment, Oxford University Press, 2009, edited by Dr. Gary Birnbaum, Director of the Multiple Sclerosis Treatment and Research Center at the Minneapolis Clinic of Neurology, is a practical, concise reference of the current opinion on the etiology, diagnosis and treatment of multiple sclerosis.  Multiple Sclerosis:  Clinician’s Guide to Diagnosis and Treatment was given a strongly positive review in “Book Review” by B. Mark Keegan, MD, FRCP(C) published in the journal Neurology, 2010, vol. 74.

"Combining Beta Interferon and Atorvastatin May Increase Disease Activity in Multiple Sclerosis" by Dr. Gary Birnbaum, MS Treatment and Research Center Director, Minneapolis Clinic of Neurology, and Dr. Irfan Altafullah, Minneapolis Clinic of Neurology, was published in the October 28, 2008 journal Neurology.
