Charles Horowitz, MD, participated in the Minnesota Health Care Roundtable "Treating Chronic Illness: Exploring Collaborative Approaches." Objectives of the Roundtable include exploring the history of treating chronic disease and the fundamental problems that lie in the most basic approach to the topic, examining the programs that have been most successful, studying ways cross-platform treatment solutions are developing and discussing how quality of patient care may improve while new collaborative approaches lower costs. An edited transcript of the conference discussion was published in the August 2010 issue of Minnesota Health Care News.
